What Is a Single Dental Implant, and Are You Suitable?
Three parts. A titanium post goes where your root was. An abutment connects it. A zirconia crown sits on top, shade-matched to the tooth beside it.
You are likely suitable if:
- You have lost one tooth to decay, gum disease or injury
- Your gums are healthy and free of active gum disease
- You do not smoke, or you are willing to stop while you heal
- You have enough jawbone to hold the post — or are open to a graft

How a Single Implant Works — Three Stages
Stage 1
Free consultation and CT scan
Start with a free virtual consultation if you would rather not travel. Dr Mirza then scans your jaw in 3D. The scan measures bone volume at the site and maps the nerve. We plan the implant position on that data and print a surgical guide from it. You leave with a written plan and an exact price.
Stage 2
Placement
We place the implant under local anaesthetic, through the guide. It takes 45 to 90 minutes. IV sedation is available. Most patients find it easier than the extraction that made the gap.
Stage 3
Your crown
Your bone fuses to the post over three to six months. We then fit your zirconia crown and issue your 5-year warranty in writing.
